HanPanDo is a strategic board game rooted in Korean culture and history. Players journey from the volcanic shores of Jeju Island northward to the sacred summit of Mount Paektu.
Collect cultural artifacts, traditional foods, and objects of ceremony. Create powerful combinations. Challenge rivals through the mythology of ancient Korea — dragons, tigers, nine-tailed foxes, and mountain spirits.
The player who builds the most prosperous village and proves their knowledge of Korean heritage earns the title Ruler of the Peninsula.
Ten figures from Korean history and culture stand before you. Each carries unique abilities. Your choice defines your path across the peninsula.

Determine turn order through 가위바위보 (rock paper scissors). The winner draws two Hero cards and selects one, receiving that hero's starting coins. Each hero carries a unique ability that shapes your strategy.
The player whose pawn sits farthest behind always takes the next turn. Move forward to any free space, skipping others if desired. Double spaces are used when four or five players compete for the same location.
Draw two cards at Hanok, Sijang, and Hansik spaces. Choose one, return one. Mandatory stops at the Seoul and Pyongyang markets allow trading. Battle rivals at Jeontu spaces using Mythical Creature cards.
When all players arrive at Dangun atop Mount Paektu, the journey ends. Count your village points, combo bonuses, and bonus categories. First to arrive earns ten bonus points. The most prosperous village wins the title of Ruler of the Peninsula.
In battle, both players draw from the deck of mythical creatures. The higher power wins. These four beings guard the ancient mythology of the Korean peninsula.
The HanPanDo companion keeps score, draws battle cards, reads quiz questions, and references any card during play. Your complete digital caddy for the physical game.
